Wanna get better with this? Better results, better times, better lifts?

 

Get uncomfortable.

 

Embrace the idea of going heavier than you think you can, even if it’s only five pounds. Going faster than you have before, even if only by a couple of seconds.  Look for ways to make your body adapt to something you’ve not done before.

 

If you’re uncomfortable, you can’t just go through the motions, you actually have to adapt and get better. If you’re uncomfortable, the instinctive side of your mind has to find a way to make your body do something it’s not 100% sure about…and then when you do it…you get this amazing swell of holy crap I just did THAT! going on, and it’s amazing.

 

Wanna be better? Get used to being uncomfortable. It’s the only way.
