Get tough.

There are some workouts whose movements you pretty much adore…barbells or body weight…so they’re not a mental trial.

Other workouts are more trying – they’re movements you don’t want or they’re movements you’re not familiar with or they’re just movements you absolutely don’t like. Maybe you’re mentally fatigued or physically fatigued before you come in.

Tough titty.

Nothing we’re doing here is impossible for anyone physically.
Nothing I’m going to assign you is going to do anything that is physically insurmountable.

It’s going to suck.
It’s going to likely make you sore.
It’s going to make you hurt.
It’s going to make you really wonder why you pay me to put you through this particular brand of hell.

But it’s not going to kill you. It’s not going to break you. The only thing that will stop you is yourself. Your mind. You’re the one controlling your body and convincing yourself you can or can’t do something.

You can.

You just have to do it.

So get tough. Mentally and physically.

And do it.
